Maybe you're feeling a little Grinch-like this year and the thought of singing carols, cracking crackers, eating your weight in turkey and then passing out in front of the TV isn't doing it for you this year, try switching things up with some of our alternative Xmas ideas. Help out the homeless Fed up of spending 48 hours prepping the turkey without receiving so much of a belch of gratitude from the fam? If you feel like feeding some people who will hugely appreciate a dinner with all the trimmings then sign up to the charity Crisis for a proper alternative Xmas day. There are a whole load of ways you can get involved in lessening the loneliness people without a home or family experience at this time of year. Get to for more info. Have a curry It's time to fly in the face of tradition so bin the turkey this year and hit The Cinnamon Club on Great Smith Street for a Christmas day curry. You can always hit Brick Lane too and there will always be a party on afterwards. Go raving Christmas isn't all sitting politely listening to Grandma, Christmas is also about having A LOT of fun.
